Hey there, I just added weld lines to my Chimera and Leman Russ, and I was wondering how to paint them. I don't know if they should be the same green camo as the tank or a metallic colour, to give the impession of welding after painting.

Normally they have the same colour as the tank itself. You can assume that they have just painted over the complete tank and they wouldn't care much about weld lines. You could berhaps highlight them a bit to show that they're a bit exposed.

aye if it's a recent modification that's been added to the tank then metallic, but if it's part of the original construction that is the tank then always painted normally since the tank was painted normally. if you're doing orks or something then often alot of that is metallic since everything is basically a patch job in that army.
