Hi everyone, Like most people i dislike the GW issue Rough Riders and i have attempted to convert my own using SM bikes. I managed to get the bikes but i am stuck when it comes to modeling the riders. I want to make them fit into my 501st Cadian Grenadiers army so i plan to use cadian body parts. The real problem is the legs. I'm temped to cut the torso off the marine rider and sculpt robes or something to cover up the SM legs. Unfortunately this will not look very IG'ish. Please help, all feedback is appreciated.

Find all the straighter legs you can.. it will help..
Cut them just below the bottom part of the jacket piece that is attached to them ( the part where the leg itself meets the waist... hope that makes sense without pictures.. )
Pin the legs back but at this point do it at an angle.. and GS the gaps.. should turn out ok.. wont need too much work to them.. might need to carve a bit out of the back of the waist, and the parts that meet the waist on the legs to make them fit but should be ok overall..
Thats how I would do it though.. so theres my suggestion.. next?

Scout marine bikers have suitable legs. You could order them and cut the torsos at the waist and just stick cadians bodies on. You wouldn't even need to do anything with the scout legs as they are not power armoured. Hope that helps!

Thanks all, i might try what Mabus suggested. Only problem is that in Australia we dont have any independant resailers that you can order specific parts from like Battlewagon Bitz so it might get expensive.
