I loled at this haha, PVA glue is a white craft glue, it is normally used for wood so it is sometimes reffered to as "wood glue" or "craft glue" and yeah I know what you mean about the GW version being expensive.

Wood glue is quite a bit stronger than normal PVA Glue. It is often used as a sealer for DIY jobs. Any hardware shop will stock PVA.

yeah, just a simple hardware shop, but PVA glue usually is advertised mainly to be used for using with wood.

really, any elmers or equivalent white glue like that works well.It doesn't ahve to be expencive to work well.I get mine from the local walmart in the craft section, " real deal tacky glue".You can even water it down abit so it isn't so thick.
hope that helps

the glue you bought for school as a kid that is white and made by elmers is PVA glue. they make a clear version that is highly recommended for hobby work.

Woodworking glue works best. I use it for all my terrain projects, and for the miniatures' bases, too.

yeah, so for some plastics in scenery (though superglue is better), cardboard, plasticard ( ), wood and paper etc PVA is good for it.

I've never used or even touched plasticard, so I can't comment on that.
