Well first, howdy I'm new here
Anywho...
I'd bought a 3 heavy weapons squad and made 3 heavy bolters and They do look good and play well but the big base annoys me. Just doesn't look right. I also have old cadians, catachan etc metals and they arn't based like that. So in the future can I base the two men on normal guardsmen bases and keep the heavy weapon loose with them like the old metals?
What I would preferably like to have is the 3 HB's on the big bases and all the rest not but with both old metals not based together and new cadian guardsmen clearly posed showing they are one of the heavy weapon pair but not on a bit base. There are people who think I'm attempting to gain an advantage by making it look like there are only 3 heavy weapons on the board. And that I either base all heavy weapons on the big bases or none at all.
To be honest I prefer the painting and modeling so I might just choose what I think looks better anyway.
Oh and a completely unrelated note but it should be quick. Imperial assassins in the deamonhunters/witchhunters codex's say they need an inquisitor to be fielded. I field pure IG. Do I HAVE to ally and take the inquisitor to get one fielded. I played a fair few years ago and I sware you just put them in on their own so I wondered if thats changed. Also that doesn't include deathcult assassins who I presume would definitely need the inquisitor/allying. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Well thats finished my ramblings. Other than I come back to the game and set up operation human shield in deployment and then get told the new line of sight rules. arrgghhh!!!
