Yeah, I've noticed an increased number of attempted re-directs (which have all been blocked) since enabling the warning function, to which I say "Suck it, Topic Craze!"

I think I've found the problem. This forum was part of an online directory called Webring, which listed sites of similar topics. Webring have now announced a cooperative venture with a new site...TopicCraze! I'm going to see what I can do to get us removed from webring. Add this - www.topiccraze.com/ - to the restricted sites/block list on your browser.

I'ts been happening to me a little too, just here and there, but what's odd is when I go back it goes back to the previous page, as in A = forum board B = thread C = topic craze On a, go to B, a second later go to C, press backspace, go back to A :< (though I followed suite on havoc's advice)

Ugh, the ones that annoy me most are when it changes you to their page IN THE MIDDLE OF TYPING A POST D:<
What are they even selling, anyway? Do they get avertising money or something for redirecting people to their useless site? I'm genuinely curious!

Its been happening to me too. I use Firefox at home (where I post), and on IE Explorer that I use at work (where I view on breaks). Annoying it is, frustrating so much. I've put the warning about redirects on, so lets see if that works, and I'll try to block when I am work.
At least it doesn't SEEM to want to add a virus.

If your getting the redirect, check your web address bar. If it says "http://www.commissar.proboards.com/" it seems the rediect comes more often. Try deleting the www. portion and that should reduce the number of redirects. For thoes lazy slobs like me whom can't be bothered downloading a better browser and use IE, go to Tools > Internet Options > Privacy tab and click the Sites button. Enter "www.topiccraze.com" to the list of sites to block and this should stop the redirect completely. Edit: For those whom are savvy and not afraid of relics like dos, here is a method for blocking a website from your computer completely. All Windoze has cmd just the method for opening it will change. In Windows XP 1. Click Start->All Programs->Accessories->Command Prompt. 2. Click Command Prompt This will open a DOS command window. 3. Type: notepad C:/Windows/System32/drivers/etc/hosts 4. Locate the line 127.0.0.1 localhost 5. To block the website google.com for example, just add this text under 127.0.0.1 localhost: 127.0.0.1 google.com 127.0.0.1 www.google.comYou can add as many sites any site, However you will need to prefix it with "127.0.0.1". 6. Save the file Google will now be blocked in all web browser. This is an advanced but easy method on how to blow a website.

Ok, I've blocked it in Firefox but this issue should be solved by those who are providing the host.
