Hi everyone I was just wondering what you all use to represent bionics on your models. My Veteran Sergeant will soon be getting bionics to stress their Veteran-ness... I was thinking a black splotch, with metal highlights would look good sorta like this. Anyway any ideas are greatly apritiated.

huh, nice, I'm liking the picture. I use a lot of SM helmetless heads to represent bionics.

take a hobby knife to the area where you're gonna bionic him up. make it look more like a physical seam between skin and steel.

mm I well basically use a SM head and kind of remove a very small part of it or something and use greenstuff or a metal piece and make it look like bionice(I only cut when I need too). I usually do arms in bionics though so if you need help wit dat lemme know!

Any kind of Bionics will do. I was just generalizing by showing the face bionics. (those red glowing eyes are hella cool.)

Well for legs I usually use a normal leg but I make it look kinda chewed up and metaly and for arms I use the spacemarine commanders sword arm. You could also use space marine legs and arms.

I like the fact the SM bits are big and bulky, makes 'em look beefier.

Here is an example of what i used as a bionic for my kasrkin veteran sergeant. Since i had two squads, i wanted to make this guy a bit more unique to the other guy pointing his little hellpistol out. I took a space marine arm from one of the assault marines and did a few cutting where his helmet used to be, and voila, bionic arm. I know it may seem a tad too big but i think that this vet. Sergeant can give one hell of a punch

You can make that even cooler but cutting away chunk of the robo arm and put som greenstuff in the holes and use a knife to shape them as tightly packed wires and paint them in different colours.

I use the space marine heads without helms.
My friend thinks that the helm makes the space marine so he gives me all the rest. ;D
