Ground Zero are 20mm it seems. I have a few foundry and copplestone. My fave in the copplestone collection are the 'Hunter Aliens' aka Predators.

What army is that female figure from Scotia Grendal from, the Viridians? I'm trying to find a few models to use as female guardsman for my Veterans.

Is your Sgt.'s pistol just a Necro stub gun?

I really like Wargames Foundry - I am considering using their WWII Burma figures with SMGs as-is for Veterans with Shotguns. Just add spare Imperial emblems and glue loose special weapons to their backs - if I use sticky-tack I could even switch them out between games.

Roughly half the time, yes. But the quality of the competition for those times they're not blows them out of the water. Also, considering that other stuff costs as little as a quarter of what GW costs...

I would say that Copplestone and wargames foundry gives GW a good run for their money. Sometime they are better.

Although you can find a string of less impressive models from Workshop (I'm looking at you plastic catachans...) on the whole I think Workshop models are really good. Granted weapons are not really to scale, and Marines in particular are too small, it's my view that they far outshine other companies models - I am still to find a company that makes models where I am as impressed with the models as I am with GW.
The ones in MGK's pics are certainly good, and I would consider using them as stand in/counts as models, but there's enough variety and quality in the GW models I like for me to keep it all GW.

If anyone made plastic 28mm modern/near future civilians, gangers, militia and so on at the same or similar quality as the other 28mm plastic kits out on the market (Warlord/Perry/Wargames Factory), GW would be out of a job.
