hmm! I guess you're right with the second one being more accurate.
as far as my recommendation - it is just a thought, not a criticism. you've got great skills with painting camo - it's silly, but camo can be kinda tough to paint with all the wierd shapes and how the different colors fit together to make a good looking balanced and not over or undercrowded appearance. I just think it'd be cool to see the resident camo expert (you) go crazy with some creativity and come up with a realistic camo pattern using colors based off some fluff for an IG army you have always wanted to make or one that you've always seen in your mind when you think "IG." I'd like to see that army (though it seems like the urban dudes are your main army (?) due to the night vision conversion work you're putting in on them as well as the quantity you've cranked out).

For the time being I'll stick to these two (urban+ desert) schemes. But I definetely like the idea of creating my own.. Anyways, I ordered a Humvee and some plasticard yesterday to do my first major conversion. My guard need some nice recce jeep after all  Cheers CC  |

And for the rest you couldn't remove with the scalpel you can use a simple nail file. I do that most of the time as well (and my chaos guard would look strange with imperial eagles all over their equipment)
