Does anyone have any Harakoni Warhawks conversions? Any pics or anything? I was wanting to make a conversion of them but wasnt sure quite how to make their uniforms.

Going on my memory of the picture of them in the codex I`d say the old Stormtroopers might be a good start. Maybe you could combine them with some forge world Drop troop accessories to make them look more airborne.

Put on carapace armor. I've found greenstuff doesn't work all that well for armor plate, but thats just me. The new karskin models look EXACTLY like the harakoni warhawks picture in the back of the codex, and they're good models to boot.

Well, your best bet would be bulky Cadians.

You could use either sets of Storm Troopers. Personally I`d go for the older ones because the new models look too similar to Cadians for my liking. Then I`d file down their backpacks and replace them with the forge world grav-chutes.

tale you basic average storm trooper and get those elysian grav chutes from forgeworld and replace them fro the sotrmtrooper backs packs. then cut of the power uplink cables that relay the power from the back pack to the hellguns....because afterall, harakoni warhawks still had lasguns....and then your done!

I recomend looking on the modeling and conversion page on the GW website, they have an article about how Owen Reese made his drop troops, they look very similar to the Harkoni troops.

That coversion in cadian117's link is nice. Looks like a stock cadian bulked up on a sh*t-load of GS and a flamer backpack. That could get expensive if you were doing it in large numbers though...
