For the skin I basecoat with something dark like scorched brown then use dwarf flesh as a heavy highlight followed by a lighter highlight of 50/50 dwarf flesh and elf flesh. I`m sure you can find other examples of ways to paint faces on the internet. I don`t bother with painting the eyes, they always end up too big.

9th Companys way works well. Try doing the eyes when you've done the scorched brown, like right after, that way you can just go over the splotches with your other highlights. It works well for me.

you can start off with something like darkflesh, if you want it dosnt have to be painted on at all. Then you paint tanned flesh upon that. Mix half and half of tanned flesh and dwarf flesh and apply that on as a highlight, leaving tanned flash in the deepest reccesses. next pure dwarf flesh, then dwarf flesh and elf flesh, elf flesh and if its a hero: elf flesh and skull white

Really often I use a basecoat of Dwarf Flesh with a highlight of Elf Flesh. Right now I mostly use a basecoat of Tanned Flesh, highlight with Bronzed Flesh, thinned down Chestnut Ink for some shadows and again highlighting parts like cheeks, chin and nose with Bronzed Flesh again.
For eyes, get a Detail and Fine Detail brush. With the detail brush, you paint the white of the eyes. After finishing that you paint small black dots with the Fine Detail Brush on the white. Requires some practice and a steady hand.

u need a base coat of dwarf flesh, then put on thinned down flesh wash (i used to not bother but it makes the contrast better with it thin) and then, once that is dry, reset the base coat with dwarf flesh (leaving the flesh wash in the recesses) and highlight with (depending on how u feel) Elf Flesh mixed with dwarf flesh or just elf flesh.
