Iv been thinking about adding some electronics to vehicles for my Guard. And I was wondering if anyone else has tryed this before? I think iv seen someone who modded a Chimera so it had lighting in the rear compartment, but other than that iv not seen anything else.
Looking for possable insparation here! lol

I also know someone who put an iPod nano with Ride of the Valkyries in his Valk. Reds

Years and years ago I recall White Dwarf (at least I think it was WD) ran an article about a Thousand Sons collector who had hollowed out the heads--and carefully drilled out the eyepieces of the helmets--of his Marines and placed a green LED inside of each head so that when the LED was powered the eyes of his minis would glow... I think the batteries for each mini were in their bases, and he ran wires up inside their legs and bodies to their neck area to connect the LED to. Really cool stuff.
My gaming club may have made portions of their last Games Day table entry light up as well--they made an Ork submersible that was surfaced in a sea of ice, and it may have had running lights on it. I'm not sure as I wasn't involved with the konstructin' and didn't get a chance to see the finished piece.
I have a remote control 1/16 scale King Tiger tank that has a light source inside of its cannon barrel (and also the bow machine gun IIRC) that flash when the command to fire the gun is given. Woz can probably tell you more about this sort of stuff, since he's big into RC 1/16 tanks.
