I'm planning to go for a dark grey theme for my IG army and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for what primer to use that is darkish grey? I'm planning to actually use this as my base coat as I've done before with black primer but I can't seem to decide what brand primer and where to get grey primer. I can only find white and black...
Help please!

For my guard I spray black and then paint all grey areas over with Adeptus Battlegrey since you need to paint a layer over sprayed areas anyway. That works out well for me.

I use Krylon Flat Black Indoor/Outdoor spray paint as an undercoat, then go over my vehicles again with Krylon Grey Indoor/Outdoor Primer. Then I take a lighter grey paint, and drybrush everything, and maybe do a second, light drybrush with white. Works great, and get results like this...  For anything that is metal, I paint black and then the metal colors. |
