Hi, I'm new to this forum and the IG as a whole. I would like to show you my first trooper...at least the first I'm rather happy with. Feel free to comment and to criticise, I would like to hear your opinions and suggestions on what can be done better. Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Quality. Really well painted. You doing your full force to this standard? Just get the base done for full marks! lol

Welcome to the IGMB! *Takes a tissue sample of the new member so that clones may be produced as needed* Your trooper looks great! Normally I like seeing the eyes painted in, but the effect that you've gotten on this mini looks really, really good. All you've got to do is get the base finished off, and that will be a piece to be very proud of, and if the rest of your army is painted to this standard it will be quite a sight to behold!

Welcome to IGMB,yes I agree with the above said statement very nicely done,is that one of the preformed cadians?Hand painted numbers on shoulder pad very nice! Now you should only have too paint 50/100 more to the same standard lol ;D,when you have them done its should be a very impressive site.Looking forward to seeing more from you.

Thank you very much for your kind comments! Indeed I did try to get a pleasing standard for my IG army. The second trooper has been finished today. So that there are only 50 or so left. I don't think eyes are worth the trouble though. Basing will follow for sure.

destroyer... that's your first "completed" trooper... it makes me want to cry with it's shading/detail/highlighting... what could be done to make it better? Basing, as Soap mentioned. Other than that... er... giving me your painting skills

Nice model, Just wish I could paint to that quality in a decent amount of time. If I want to do a good job it takes far too long.

I was feeling pleased with myself having just come from a painting session and completing a Chimera.
Then I saw this; your first model...
Exellent work!

how long do you spend on each model? Very high standard makes my miniatures look like a model dipped in paint (oh it is...)
