The more I look at them, the more I like the colour change. Will you be adding this same colour to you senti and Chimera?
Pictures of the rapier laser thingy??

Major Downer Yeah I'm really starting to prefer the Grey. Yup the 2 sentinels will be re-painted next week, as will the Chimera hopefully. I bought another Command Squad today, mainly because I was bored, so I've turned them into varying people, a commissar, Melta, 2nd crewman for the Rapier etc. I'll get some pictures up Friday for you Cosmic

Looking really good! I especially like how well the background matches the foreground--it's pretty seamless!

Hey Cosmic they look ace, but don't you need to paint their bases to better fit in with the colour of the sand on your shelf?

I could, but I wanted to do a winter tundra type style, and anyway, it's just a display shelf for any of my miniatures, they don't have to all be the same bases as the shelf

Brilliant! The grey contrasts better with the fatigues. Great simple little army symbol on the shoulder-pads and an amazing looking shelf photo/ diorama.

yeah i think the new coloured armour is much nicer to look at, grey is a pretty neutral colour that looks good in any setting... although my favourite bit of them is the wooden stocks...
i see you got a nice desert background on the go... certainly makes for more interesting photos...

Did you strip them or just paint over them?

Well their Armour was just white anyway so it just requires a coat of Codex Grey, Badab Black, Codex Grey, then highlight of Fortress Grey

Same thing, they're White so it's just the same method really.

Kk, personally I'm paranoid about paint build-up. If it were me, I'd strip the sent, simply because I would have to paint almost everything over again. But then again, I'm paranoid.

I understand your paranoia, however you need to remember that the White armour was just the Undercoat as it was, straight from a spray can. So the Grey that I'm adding is techincally the basecoat as if you were painting any other model Thank you Gerner, hmm well camouflage could be something to do on my Vets or Tanks.
