Hmmm... I'm not sure about a date with the Colossus. However, if you'd like to buy and paint another one and then give it to me, I would have no objections... Big Ben is looking quite nice, and I'm looking forward to seeing it finished! Shall cost you £100 pounds though Well It's almost finished! See below... Thanks Pyro I shall board the next plane then UpdateBasilisk Big Ben: WIPStill a few things to do, the Flamer, the Undercarriage, Gun Mount and Crew but it's almost there Cosmic

I love basilisks. I only wish they were a bit more competitive. (huge min. Range) Nice one.

Years and years ago when I had my first proper game (when I was about 12 or something) I had a small Guard force which had a Basilisk.
My friends Tyranids scared all of my infantry in the first turn and they retreated off the board, which left just my Basilisk........but......on my go his Tyranids where in direct line of the hull mounted flamer, and in one swift move, I managed to wipe out his entire Hormagaunt squad ;D I felt so epic.

Double post of doom! But no one really cares I'm sure In between painting the crew of Big Ben, I've decided to try my hand at some sculpting. We've all seen Ashot's thread with some amazing Greenstuff work, so I thought......why not, I can give it a go. Now I didn't have any spare GS, I had some Milliput laying about instead so I used that. Whilst it's good, it's slightly more 'grainy' and messier than GS as it breaks off quite regularly. It's good for a starter, but if I choose to do this more often I'll switch to GS as it's cleaner. But anyway, here's a quick tester..... Things I've learnt so far with Milliput is that I need to leave it a little longer to cure more, and THEN start finalising the shape and detail. But not a bad start in my opinion! Til next time, Cosmic

I really like the shape on that armour. I'm going to do more GS and miliput stuff once I clear my Ork hurdle.

That looks great mate... I started on milliput and its just as good as gs, but like you said, its drier and can crack. You will soon run into a problem though dude... your gonna think it looks better than the standard cadian armour and your gonna do it for all your future models... also, when doing the front armour, remember that if your using lasgun arms... that there's nor a lot of allowances to get then to fit over bulky sculptured armour.... very good work though mate
