Im using the snow from Woodland Scenics. I think you saw how it turned out in my diorama/scenery thread int the painting and conversions section. It's pretty good sticks well and hardly sheds off. I am quite pleased with it. Plus the bottle it came in should have enough in it for a lifetime of figures vehicles and small display boards/diorama's

Yea I know, it was a tragic day.... They made great product. Are they planning to rebuild? I haven't really heard anything since the fire happened.

Right... I don't know how to start... I went back and read evry page... All I can say is... I'm a bit disappointed mate... Not inpresed at all!... Basicly Because your just way too awesome... That ain't suppose to be a compliment! I just feel that whatever I do will be runner up  ... I have just started a thread like this one and my models should arrive ready for my Sunday session (my wife is busy on Sunday afternoon so I get time to do my models then) but now I'm thinking what a shame they will be. However! I'll give it a shot and Hopefully they will be ALMOST as good as yours. One day may our regiments sit side by side and if it should be a last stand* I can't think of any other regiment than yours that I'd like my men to be along side at there last moment! Fantastic work from start to finish Cosmic! *- Obviously I will be watching that last stand, with a high power telescope, from a command post at safe locashion far away. I'll be there in spirt tho! |

Thank you very much Vulpine ......I think! Everyone should be pleased with their work no matter what, there are WAY better people than me, but despite that I just do my best and hope to improve, that's all you can do I shall definitely take a look at your thread, expect a comment soon! |

Thanks Danesk, the Chimera is almost there so thought I'd post a pic up before I get lashed by Trooper again   And here's some photos of the Army so far on the display shelf...      It looks a lot better in real life cause you can get down and see all the detail, but I'm afraid photos will have to do unless you all want to travel here and see it in real-life ;D |

I feel so stupid to ask this but is that *leather* around the Heavy Bolter?
To be honest I never realized that is leather. Please tell me it's leather.

I've always thought of it as a leather or rubbery bit of cowling around the hull mounts on chimera type vehicles.
