Just ordered a couple of forgeworld DKK grenadiers i was wondering if there was any special considerations i should take when i assemble/paint them. I haven't used resin much and didn't want to mess up these great figs. thanks

I'd suggest a thin brush-on primer instad of a spray primer - sprays are fine and all, but the kicker with the resin figures is the extreme detail, more so than plastic or metal can give... and a thinned-out brush-on primer will leave you more detail than a spray.
If you are going to try anything new you never thought of before, test it on a piece of the resin sprue first to ensure the formula of the paint/whatever does not have an adverse reaction.

After getting the resin be prepared to soak them in a de-greaser to remove the mold release. Mold release is a oil that will keep paint from sticking.
Something a lot of people use is Simple Green, but any de-greaser is able to do the same job. Even if you were to soak them in water and Dawn dish liquid.
After soaking use an old tooth brush to wash them. Rinse with water and then let air dry.
Resin at time will have mold lines that are off set and this will take filler (green stuff is ok, but Bondo works better).
Use a sandable primer after cleaning and sanding so that you can see what imperfections are still there.
After that it is just a matter of painting and finishing to your own tastes.

I am about to order myself some DKK infantry squads now, remember that citadel paint won't stick to resin, you first need to spray them with matt spray paint.
That's some good advice there ssgtdude.

Glad you can use it mabus. Just got 4 resin figures for x-mas and another three on the way. Working on some 1/6th scale figures for my display case. My other hobby besides GW.
Playing clean up and preliminary build and test fit for the first kit now.
If anyone knows anything about scale they can tell you that these things are huge.
Huge difference painting them versus the GW models.
