I pulled these guys out to celebrate my re-entry into 40k. They are the remnants of an army I painted my junior/sophomore year of high school. Shown off for nostalgia and to make my sweet painting skillz ( public. Commissar Yarrick (acted as my army's Colonel): Female Commissar: MEDIC!: Termie Inquisitor: Some golden boys: Members of Gray Squad: Red Squad: Some crusty old vets(painted back in elementary school days, yikes): Ratskin: Eldar: Some blokes that got lost in a wormhole:

Like the normal guard...not sure what to say about the rest....not that they are bad just...interesting. By that I mean the wormhole dudes.

"Lost in a wormhole" is my way of saying that they are models from a different gaming universe.
The first picture are VASA soldiers from the game VOID.
The second are NATO soldiers from the long gone game Vore: The Maelstorm.

if you want to re work those models get them in some break fluid, though by your use of language i would say your a colonial, so i'd check if 4 spot stuff in the uk is the same as colonial stuff, and if it is, it will strip the paint off nicely without damaging the model underneath, got that from woz and i've done it myself and it works a treat, after all the female commisar is a collectors item now.

I want one sooo much, but I would paint it diffrent from the blue scheme, *ick*, I like the black/red scheme best, I only have 2 models in my army i am happy with though, Yarrick and the new commissar with a power fist and book...
