Hey Shostak, I'd like to see some alternative angles of the stubber team, please! It looks like a sweet conversion...

It's only a vehicle stubber with the round bit at the botton clipped off mounted onto a tripod, and a heavy bolter ammo box on the side. The pain was getting the gunner to reach the weapon, as the stubber is a lot shorter than a heavy bolter or autocannon. I'll get some pics up later though.
The vet squad is under way, I'm about 2/3 of the way through them; so should finish tonight.

Double post. As requested, other shots of my stubber. And My now completed veterans. And finally a full army shot. This is it for now, I've run out of minis to paint and want to re visit my Guard. Hopefully I'll dif up this thread in August or maybe September. Cheers for now.

Well done Shostak - a nice little force to be proud of Though I do hope that this is not actually the final update... surely there'll be the odd bit added now and again... (Seeing that Heavy Stubber, I can actually see how I made a thunder hammer from it... Emperor knows where the inspiration came from though...)

@ Lupus. When I say final update I mean for the time being. I plan on revisiting this army in August or September, when I have some more money and less unpainted Guard.
Thanks all for your kind words.

Well, it's taken longer than I first thought but I'm back. Although for the most part I'm working on my Golden Guardsman entry I will soon be purchasing a Battleforce and some other bits to try and get a decent sized force up together for the April meet up. For now though I have this to tide you over- my converted Leman Russ Demolisher. Cheers for now.

Cheers all, and don't be too hard on the French; they put up a good fight as and when they wanted too... seemingly when they could show up the British by doing so.

I'm loving the stubber as a light, one man, machine gun.

Let's build a massive land blockade but the armaments can only turn in 45 degree increments, that'll show them!" Germans- "Hey! Let's just drive around it!"

OK, so I'm back on task; sort of. I've built up another tank and have stuff due to arrive soon to complete the next chunk of my army. My camera is playing up right now, but expect picture based updates in the near future. EDIT: Pictures... My latest vehicle: A better shot of my last tank: Six assembled veterans: And the veteran sargeant, which I'm quite proud of: I've also built some more stubber teams, but they're not really all that interesting. I'll show them when they're painted. My next task is to try and convert a Colossus, using various bits and pieces. By the time my various orders arrive I will have enough parts to make a 25 man platoon and finish the veterans, thereby completing this next stage of my force.
