So as you can see from the title, i'm about to start painting my first valk. I havn't assembled it yet though because i'm wondering if it would be easier to paint it before hand? Just trying to figure out the best way to go about doing this.

Id say do it it bits. Main body, cockpit, wings and tail. That way you can get at the fiddly details inside and in the cockpit. Definately do the pilots and door gunners separate, they'll be very hard to get at otherwise.

Awesome, thanks man! I was leaning towards doing it like this, but i just really wanted some insight from someone who's painted one before.

Paint the inside of the hull first as well. I am also in the process of building/painting my first valk. Spray paint is your friend too. I used it to paint the wings and body, and used blu tac to mask areas I didnt want painted - its very good for doing a 'cammo' style paint job.
