Well got the majority of my conscript bits order in. While GW did muss the order up (Sent five Last Chancer Brains instead of 5 Last Chancer warrior woman). I have basicly what I am going to need for the unit to begin my conversions.
The concept is simple. My conscripts are going to be girl scouts (Yes, one will be holding a box of cookies). Of course they will be the only unit that will not be painted pink. I chose the familiar demonette model to start with. Since this will be a full platoon I ended up buying 45. The warrior women were supposed to be the troop leader (one per squad). I'm going to probably field them with flamers because of the BS score they have.
So now I'll be needing to break out the green stuff to start modeling them. I'll try to take some pics to share with you all.

GAHAHAHA!!! nice idea! but wouldn't they fit better as daemonets? Everyone knows that little girls are evil, Espesially if they carry cookies.

Is the box of cookies going to have any special rules?

Jankett, I initially thought about using the demonettes, but after looking at the models and the lobster claw hands and then at the familiar demonettes. It all came down to the vision of little girls dressed as girl scouts with less conversion and at a cheaper price. A box of cookies will be involved with the conversion as will the sash with merit badges. going to have to look at the girlscout handbook for appropriate color scheme of the girlscouts and the troop leaders as well. I think the troop leaders are supposed to wear blue. Basicly, I am using the same Idea that many of modern day military use. Hitler youth, Civil Air Patrol, the conscripts of Russia, etc... The conscipts would be younger than the normal line soldier to begin with. Some had suggested I ue the Cadians to show the subjugated men of the Amazonian society, but why would they be conscripts? Didn't make sense to do it for the background of the army so they get to stay back at the house making sandwiches and doing the dishes. then again I was also thinking something along the lines of the following for the uniform.

Well Jenkett that would be a good thing if I were playing traitor guard, but that isn't hwat I am doing. I'm playing straight IP Guard who are loyal to the emperor. They just happen to be women. scary women, but women to say the least.

Ok work on the conscripts is going well. Have one painted and here is a comparison pic of my conscript (sans weapon) next to the squad leader (not yet painted) to give you a size comparison of how small my conscripts are to indicate their actual age. As always I apologize for the craptastic photo skills I have.

Actually, it was a demonette familiar at one time. As I have said in previous posts. Part of the endeavor on making my army was to create it and it still be tournament legal in all regards while still being totally a female army. When I seen these girls I just knew I found my conscripts.
Remember, conscripts are not going to be adults. Mine just happen to be a bit younger than most peoples. Although, if you look to the fluff on the letters home you get a better understanding on my girls scouts now.

Hmm, clever idea ssgtdude has here. I'm not sure if I have it in me to massacre a girl scout Troop with a Heavy Bolter. Perhaps this is what he's hoping his enemies will be thinking?

trust me as soon as you see 5 flamers and 45 lasguns pointed in your general direction you will not hesitate to use your bolters on them
