I've been thinking about getting a V-22 model and adding on some of my left over lascannon and heavy bolter bits from my heavy weapons teams as the weapons for it. Any1 have any ideas about how to imporve this idea?

Depends on the scale of the model cause if its too small it will look funny. Anyway it would be pretty cool ;D

ya the valkyrie is what i meant i was looking at some of the large scale models but before i pick exactly what scale i need to double check the dimensions on the FW model. The main model i've been looking at is a Italeri V-22 Osprey 1:48 scale model it's about the same size as teh FW model but i'm looking to see if i can find something a little bit bigger

I converted a helicopter plastic kit into a vulture gunship. 1:48 is the right scale. If you use a bigger scale the models might come out a bit odd.

I have a good idea of what I'm going to do to convert the V-22 except for one problem I'm not sure how to add the heavy bolter door gunners any ideas on how i could add them?

1- Most V22s have side-mounted doors. Maybe use..... the bipod mount for the infantry missile launchers with a heavy bolter, or pintle heavy stubbers from the Tank sprues as your Heavy bolters.

the heavy stubber idea sounds like a good idea but unfortuently i have no extra tank bits lying around so i'm going to see how the bipod idea works

Have you actually seen the Italeri outside the box, because I can tell you that their quality shifts from good to not-so-hot.Just trying to warn you. But, I really would like to see pics of this when it is in production.

Italeri would be my reccomendation for a model. So far all the models i've got from them have been decent. the only alternative would be revell, who are good also but are moer complex.

You are one lucky man to get good models from them on a regular basis.
