Base rim colour help required

Well, obviously I can't decide on what base-rim colour to have for my apocalyptic Imperial Urban Assault Group (Guard/ Inquisition). Silly.
Thought this might be the right place to ask for your professional opinion fellas.
Should you vote for 'other', please let me know what you'd prefer.

Khemri brown blends in with the surroundings, which is basically what you want your camo guardsmen to do... The black is very stark against the rest of the base, which I find detracts from the overall look of the model.

The only problem being that they might be so concealed you'll lose some of them =p

I have to say that from an aesthetic eye I enjoy the black base rim. However, only from a point if you were to enter a model into a painting competition. For the game I would go with the brown. Helps blend in the unit to the table, gives the illusion of a unit actually belonging with the terrain.

I voted other. khemri brown does look really good, but maybe if you could find a grey that doesn't clash too much with the paint scheme for your troops, that would be good (maybe a really dark grey) but if it was out of those two I would pick brown.

For a dark-gray I once found some Doomsday gray at a Hobby Lobby in my area, really dark and depressing color really.

I really prefer the black, it makes the model look more neatly done IMHO, I know it is neat, but like with the brown it looks like you just slapped more paint on to finish it.

I think people will be too busy gaping at those incredible models to notice the base rim, but i'd say, if you're aiming for an urban look... i'd go with a mix of codex/fortress gray.
