I was looking for a practical solution to switch the different options of my baneblade and to be able to carry it easily. So I made a pintle mounted stormbolter, an heavy stubber and a hunter killer missile and added a metal shaft. I also made 4 differents aerials to show what kind of crew it is : _ classical crew _ high command crew _ commissar crew To make it carriable very easily I didn't glue the upper part of the hull with the down part to store all of the options inside it. I also managed to drill 3 holes in the turret to put the weapons options. The supports of the aerials were also drilled to receive the optional aerials. Here you can see a naked version of my baneblade : And one version with some options : Painting was done with those amazing foundation paints and it was quite fast to brush it.

While I commend your creativeness, I must say, pintle mounted weapons/hunter killers on a Baneblade = waste of points. If you cant kill it with the weapons it comes with standard, then why would you think that stormbolter is going to help?

But there is nothing about points/efficiency in Apocalypse ... That was just a challenge to make those options removable and cheap (bitz used : a stormbolter from old accessories sprue, an heavy stuber from accessories sprue and a missile-launcher spared from a cadian HW box). The main idea was firstly to alternate between the different crews without changing anything on the baneblade itself.

My point was directed more at a standard 40k high point game.

You can fit one in a 2k-2.5k game no sweat and it is worth every point. The point I was making was like having a Battleship and having a guy with a pistol on deck firing at the ship your shooting the main guns at. Sort of like putting sugar on your ice cream.
