Has anyone used any of the army painter quickshade line? They got 3 types soft normal and dark.
Was looking at this but wanted to see if anyone out there, used it before i went and coated my models.

I've done some ww2 infantry with good results.
You could also check into regular wood stain, gloss is important I think (forget why!). Same stuff really.

Is great but I suggest the use of "anti shine" i don't like my models shining like slaanesh.

A matt varnish will sort that out, army painter do that too, although a lot of other brands/companies also do it.

Would it be "strong tone" for guard? The first few I did recently got a head to toe in gryphonne sepia between blocking and highlighting, so I'd be interested in a similar effect from a quick dipping!
