Just bought off of The War Store some Pig Iron Kolony Militia figures (4 to be exact). I am planning on converting them to DKoK Sniper's (as I wanted my Sniper's to stand out a little bit from the crowd). Figured I would start small and see how I liked them before blowing more money on their stuff to do conversions, etc. I will keep updating when I get the figures and my progress as they start to come along!

I think these will work for you. They are my plan B in case I can't get anymore Valhallans. I've heard they are a tad smaller than say, the Valhallans but I don't think people will notice (and I didn't verify that info anyway.)

Thank you Yeti, I will keep this as updated as I can, hopefully my camera decides it will work those days. I should be getting the figures here shortly. Hoping by the weekend so I can get started.

Are the Pig Iron models good quality? I was wondering if I should pick up some stuff from them, like the assorted heads and stuff, to bring some more varity to my infantry. Cadian heads are booooring!

Cadian heads are booooring! Im not honestly sure about the quality of the figures quite yet, its one of the main reasons I only purchased a 4 pack as to not have wasted money for crappy figs.. But the link kyron posted is of his Pig Iron conversions, which sold me to give them a shot. I will be posting pictures of the figures fresh out of the box and so on until I have them to where they will become a part of my army. From what Ive been reading their quality isn't as up to par as GW, but for their prices, it's good enough for me for some cheap conversion models. check back frequently for updates, I should be getting them in the mail today or tomorrow  |

I have received them! I also received a box of greatcoat troopers by wargames factory to stand in as Grenadier's for the time being until I can afford real Grenadiers. Had a pretty busy weekend, so i haven't had a lot of time to dedicate to my new mini's. I promised pictures and side by side pictures as well, and by golly I will post some as soon as I possibly can! Stay tuned my friend!
