I tend to only ever use GW spray paints, and only know as much about them as you get to know from pointing them at stuff, so I have two questions to ask here:
1): I unearthed 3 cans of ancient spray paint, Chaos Black, Skull White and Bad Moonz Yellow, that I think came from 1999. Will I have any troubles with such old cans?
2): I recently bought two cans of spray paint from Halfords; a can of “Fluorescent” yellow and a can of “Glow In The Dark” yellow. Any ideas about issues I might face in using these?
Maximum thanks in advance IGMB for all the helpful wisdom or speculation I’m sure you will grace me with. All comments and ideas/warnings are welcome.

Try them out on something. The paint may have settled and need a good shake. I dont think it has a 'sell by' date though as for the halfords stuff, my only worry would be the finish, test it and see! Even a bit of sprue would work. Their primer works well on GW plastics, so I dont see why anything else wouldnt

The 10 year old spray cans may have settled or clogged the release tube? just shake very very well and spray on cardboard or something to see if it sets right and not chunky or splotchy, I made the mistake waaaay back in the day of using a very old primer on my old Nid army and it settled on them like cake icing covering up most of their detail... so better safe than sorry. as for the other company, Ive never personally used so my opinion wouldnt matter ha! Hope this helps!

I agree with the previous comments. A crazy shake is due at least, meaning a few solid 15 minute sessions of shaking the can. Then, spray out on some carboard as mentioned. Maybe do a test model and be ready with a plan B for priming in case these pooch out on you in the middle of using them.
I wish you luck. I wish GW still sold Skull White spray, that was the best primer ever.

Also, I stopped using the $10 GW paint in lieu of the $3 wal-mart spray a while back. It has so far worked out very well for me.
