As the title states, this is a guide for converting your guardsmen to carry shotguns.
Tools Needed
knife, clippers reccomended. File optional. Greenstuff highly reccomended for first few tries.
Bitz Required
Scout shotgun arms, cadian lasgun arms
Difficulty
I wouldn't call this "hard", just tricky. Mainly getting cuts right, and aligning pieces correctly.
There are two patterns of shotguns I created, both involving the same bitz.
Arbites Law-Bringer Pattern
Pick up the scout arm with the shotgun. Where the front "brace" ends on the arm, around the elbow, is where you should cut.
You should get something like this
Take the scout's left arm, and also cut where the arm guard brace thing ends
now take a cadian left arm, and cut around the elbow area
You should get something like this
Now take the cadian lasgun arm, and cut around the elbow. Cutting this part is VERY tricky, i suggest you take your time. Also, do not neglect to fully remove the lasgun stock when the forearm is removed.
Now, attatch the scout forearms to the cadian arms you have just cut, and fit them onto the cadian torso
My own, custom, pattern
Take your scout shotgun, and cut it like so, leaving the hand and the pump intact. Be VERY careful when you cut, try to keep it smooth and straight.
Take your cadian left arm and cut off the "nub" thing, it is not needed
cut off the front of the lasgun, leaving the magwell intact and glue the front of the shotgun to it.
When attatched to the cadian torso, this should be the end result
Now, I THINK I covered all the loose ends and that the tutorial was clear and easy to follow. If a step was unclear or poorly explained, please let me know so I can fix it.
