Heyas guys was wondering if any of you have any experience with the army painter quick shade varnish? Let me know pros and cons or ideas for i just bought one to see how it is.

Ive not used them, although they seem to work OK if you want a 'tabletop quality' army quickly. They dry shiny though so matt varnish is needed before any more painting can be done.

quick shade comes in 3 tones
soft tone (for mostly white) strong (for nearly everything) dark (comic like)
soft and strong is nearly a devlan mud color dark tone is black.
the miniatures shine and blink in the sun, i prefer the varnish spray from army painter afterwards.. that makes them not shiny at all.
I made one army (IG) with washes and my space wolves with army painter. both is great, army painter is a bit. faster (one wash fits all).
and your miniatures look great without highlighting
cons are.. the costs and the smell ^^ and i really dont like shiny miniatures. but the spray helps.
