The most recent project I've finished has been some new Roughriders, I sculpted these in Greenstuff, and making use of some Pith Helmetted heads I sculpted for Secret Weapon Miniatures

I then had them cast up professionally in white metal

Before painting and assembling the first 5 of what will be 3 units of 10, I'm also selling the original components to make your own if anyone is interested, HERE.

What do you think?

Gerner, the way I look at it rather then explosive tips these carry some sort of powered charge, think of them as an overcharged, one use power weapon. The lance tip, though its not particularly visible in these pics includes a cable running to the 'capacitor' which forms the bulk of the lance head.
