Nasty Archon help

One of my opponents have begun fielding trygons and carnifexs (carnifexi?) in large amounts. My Dark Eldar have struggled to kill them once they reach close combat. Sure my splinter weapons can down one or two but not all. So I was looking for a mean close combat Archon to use and I wondered if I gave one a Agoniser and a Huskblade would I then get poisoned attacks(4+), power weapon and instant death? or can I only use one special weapon's rules. I'm away from my rulebook, (only bringing a codex with you to make a rmy list doesn't work ) so I can't check. I'm sure it mentions it though. I do remember that it says you can't get a bonus attack from two special weapons though, but four instant death causing power weapon poisoned on a 4+ should do it, and if I include a Lhamaean then I get poisoned 2+. Rather mean but I need it. ;D

You can only use one at a time, but if you're playing against lots of MCs you should consider taking a soul trap and huskblade, since the soul trap doubles your strength after you kill an MC or independent character (and after the second such kill you hit S 10).

Another option would be to take the Duke with a Trueborn dakka squad (2x splinter cannons, everyone else gets shard carbines). 14 wounds per turn on average from 18" isn't to be laughed at, and if you mount them in a Raider with a flickerfield and night shield, they'll be hard to touch by Tyranid ranged weapons.

Wyches could also be useful here. Take a full squad with 2x shardnets and a hekatrix with an agonizer. An electrocorrosive whip would be nice, except that it doesn't help much with wounding in the first place. Anyways, make sure that your hekatrix and the Wyches with the shardnets are in base contact with his big gribblies (preferably, you should shoot it first and then charge). With any luck, you'll bring him down to a single attack and your hekatrix will be able to take him down after a few turns.
