Cadet Commissars

I was just reading the Lexicanum entry for Commissars and I thought I might use my Last Chancers' Hero model as a Cadet.

Where it says that cadets have blue trim does this mean that anything I would typically paint red should be switched to blue?

Is there anything else I should consider?

I'd imagine the coats and stuff would be blue around the edges instead of red but that's just me.
