It looks cool, but it says it is for 54mm. That would make it a bit to big for WH40K.

Hmmm I've been reading that 1/35 model kits frequently work well, I thought 1/32 would be "close enough". Need to see one in person!

I think 1/48 is the closest to 'guard scale', at least the ones I have seen being used in guard armies looked OK

40K vehicle scale is somewhat smaller than figure scale, so err on the small side. Remember how the old Rhino couldn't hold 10 marines? Well, it wasn't supposed to...

I used to pretend that the marines folded up like transformers... I would always make the sound when they disembarked.

nah they have a shower party back at HQ then use the teleporters to appear to disembark
