Help with cadian uniform scheme!!

Hi guys,

I'm having real problems deciding on a paint scheme for the 100plus cadians I have sitting here. I dont want to go with the usual khaki and green look and I was thinking of having some purple in there, as I want something a little bit more ceremonial.

Im thinking at the moment of dark purple jackets, Khaki trousers, dark brown straps and boots, and bleached bone armour and maybe lasguns. What do you think?

I might do a couple of test minis and post them up, but having issues with my camera. I think it just needs a new battery.

I haven't thought up any fluff for them yet either. I was going to paint them first then decide on a background.

Invest in a spray gun or airbrush, and blitz those suckers with Hormagaunt Purple. Paint them with Khemri Brown for the armour and highlight with Dheneb Stone. Then paint the details

Thats how I'd do it anyway. If you can't get an airbrush, never underestimate a big brush, some good music and a large cup of caffine ;D

I remember in a few of the Caphias Cain biooks, there were a few guard regements that had 'loud' uniforms as it was fashionable on the planets they were from. You could just have a regiment thats very on-trend I think purple and cream would look stunning on an army, and you're brave for going for it!

Do skull white armor instead of bleached bone. Bleached bone is for... well... bleached bone. (or parchment)
