As a lover of gas masks and dark uniforms, I'm finding your 'plog' rather interesting indeed. I like the added armour plates to your Lord Commissar, makes him a bit different from your run of the mill ones out there.
Just out of curiosity, your platoon banner, where's the actual banner from? I'm working on building a few platoons, but don't want to use the same banners over and over again, yet aren't yet confident enough to model my own using GS, so I'm curious!
Keep going! Nothus

egon: well, it is indeed a strangely scaled miniature, and yes it is the original macragge one colonelnothus: thanks man, i really like what i did with the lord, but all i tried after this point was in vain, it looked just a bit too much, so this is as far as it goes for him also the platoon banner is from the catachan command squad, i cut the last 0,5cm of the banners bottom shaft off so i could place it in another direction, and then i angled it outwards from the torso, since the arm itself wants to hug the torso, and that doessent look wery good. then i used a shoulderpad from the leman russ kit (the hatch-guy's shoulder pads) the same ones i used for the lord' but i filed the skull down with sandpaper (is it called that?) so it would fit with the regular cadian shoulderpads and get some transfers or something later on good luck mate, hope it helps

another batch another update been trying to adjust some of the monopose stereotypes in the army, like the sergants, also got to work on my supreeme commander, Admiral Vradek (who will count as Creed if i ever field him) im currently thinking about giving him a officer cap, to make him the perfect aestethic mix between cybergenetic/steampunk and military dicipline. also made some additional fiddling with the medical officer.

These look fantastic! I would personally paint the hands as if they were wearing gloves. It would fit well with the gas mask theme. For Helghan!

They look great. I might invest i some kind of closed helmet to my cadians, it looks so much better.
I think your paintscheme is cool but I would paint gloves rather than bare skin to make them look like they are wearing enclosed suits.

Im loving the look of this army. A few days ago I had ordered the shock troop box set to make my guard army (before seeing your plog) and I was wondering where you got the heads from on their own? as it would greatly help with my guard army

got my christmasgifts for myself, from myself (happy nerd) also got some FW plasma pistols that were more size appropriate to my guardsmen the four plastic bags are hardened veterans with shotguns upgrade from FW.. but they were too small.. about 10% smaller in all aspects. the shoulderpads made them look so off balance compared to the other guardsmen, and the torsos themseves were also too small to look good with the others, so i will sell them, but atleast i wont buy more of those!

MMMMM Plasma Blastgun.... Thats a nice prezzie! I bulked my shotty vets out by sticking some Space Marine Scout pouches on the waist and also on the shoulder pads at the bottom, along with the shell belt that you get in the pack. It disguises the joins with the legs so the problem isn't as noticable
