Maxmini Combat armour any one used them?

After a whole day of GSing my new guard i came across these

witch are basicaly what im doing to my cadians :/ but was wondering befor i hit my test model with a hammer for failing me for the last time and order some of these has any one had any experiance using them and do standard cadian arms fit on them cause im a little concerned that normal cadian arms come on purdy close to the chest and the added pouches on the font would get in the way.

I doubt they'll fit, from the looks of it. At least not without chopping the pouches off and with resin it'll be messy.

Just buy head conversions instead and carry on GSing. If GS doesn't work out try using Milliput - the standard yellow/ grey one. It's more cement-line and messier, but it also works in a very similar way to GS.

Yeah kinda what i thought. GS working fine mate, thanks for the advice on the milliput though

Dave Taylor has used those torsos with both Tanith and Steel Legion themed armies. You can see the results in the blog posts I linked below. I haven't seen any models using them in person though.
