Im wanting to do my converted cadians as if there wearing full bodysuits (you know the kind underneath there fatigues like cat suits) to protect them from gasses and limited vacume as they are suposed to be mainly fleet based and used in hostile Inviroments so i was wanting to do them with gloves on now i was wondering how to go about this i have thought of several options my self and would like some imput into them and posibly see if there are any other ideas on the subject so, Option One- Just paint them Fatigue coloured and say they are skintight likra kinda things Option Two- Try and GS them to look like gloves Option Three (and my faorite at the sec) just add padds to the back of the hand to make it look like there slightly more armoured leaving only the fingers as "bare" paint the pads up my armour color to represent extra flack plates and the finger up fatigue colour like in option one Any advice, comments or general please for me to shut up are welcome

i would personally just paint them black, i would imagine any kind of bodysuit would be black or navy blue. leaving the fingers bare wouldnt help in protecting against gasses though

I paint my hands black, and they look like gloves. Make life easy for yourself

You have 2 choice. When you take some GS, try smooth fissure between finger. Or take only paint. I personaly paint with snakebite leather and use badab black. After this paint it look like very frequently use gloves.

I think they already look like gloves. Experiment with colors and shading.

Yeah, just paint the hands some color other than flesh. The old Valhallan and Mordian miniatures often had this done to them to represent gloved hands. Anything else is just far too fiddly...

I gave my ice planet trooper gloves, just painted his hands black, doesnt look too bad but doubt it'd work in a vacume... but then again GS wouldn't work too well with the hands pulling the trigger...

I would paint black and then do a very light drybrush of fortress grey to give it a little depth.

I'd probably do codex grey and then badab black for gloves.

I've actually used that method before and it looked pretty good.

You could even paint patterns on to make them look like they were knitted

I usually do mine black and paint the 'trigger' finger flesh, an easier option than greenstuff would be to paint the 'back' of the hand as the carapace on your guard and the fingers/palms the same as the fatigues
