What should a plastic master of ordnance have? For body i thought the longcoat from the command squad, a torso with an eagle at the chest. And im thinking a voxcaster backpack thingy, but what for head and arms/hands?

For mine I used the baseball cap style head and a pointing arm and an arm holding papers painted like a map with some binoculors on his waist, tank commanders legs and theunarmoured cadian torso all off the command frame, with a Catachan commlink with a cadain commlink ariel

That head is the one with some sort of goggles? Would binoculars fastened to the voxcaster head look strange? With the sitting attached to it without the moo holding it? Pointing arm could work. What are the tank commander legs? Is it those that are kinda spread out, not looking like the mini is walking?
Noone else has made a Moo? Noone else has tips, ideas?

I have built a MoO recently. I used an old original plastic stormtrooper body because it looks like a fire-retardant Nomex blast suit, a pig iron helmet/gasmask head, a bit of autopistol fairing for a toggle/trigger assembly, arm from IG vehicle sprue and hand from the plastic sentinal pilot for a hand held auspex/uplink. His backpack was part Necromunda autopistol and bridge from a Chaos cruiser. I imagined he had LOS targeting lenses on helmet, backpack and scanner to triangulate strikes for rear echelon batteries or orbiting cruisers. His backpack is a mobile uplink or something similar. Finally, I painted him sealed up and wearing something like Nomex gloves. Originally I wanted to build him like am EOD officer like in Hurt Locker, using a space marine torso turned around but I couldn't make it work. At two extremes, I think there are 2 kinds of MoO. The first is an ideal one, perhaps like mine, all buttoned up and ready for anything. The other is more of an improvisation, like an officer with binoculars and nerves of steel to direct incoming ordnance danger close... You can see the WIP on my Valhallen thread here: commissar.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=Painting&action=display&thread=11630&page=8

To be honest, anything that you could make from the plastic kits will look great. Yes, the metal ones have a few fancy bits, but as everyone here has shown, a few odds and ends will make you a badass looking Master Of Ordainance.
I'd show you mine, although I'm not going to as I was a sucker and clicked 'buy' when they went on Advanced Order...

Here's my Catachan-carapace style MoO: Essentially I took the carapace officer torso and leg bit, slapped on the beret officer's head, added a vox-caster pack, a las pistol arm and a scabbarded sword (since he comes with a las pistol and close combat weapon), then added a grabby-hand arm (from the infantry squad lasgun arm set) holding binoculars (from a heavy weapon team). The shoulder pads came from Cadian arms, and were carved-filed to fit the Catachan arms.

Major finger cramping is involved, but I tell myself it's worth it when the pads turn out well and look good on the Catachan arms.
