I was thinking it might be cool to have the missiles removable each time I fire as a way of keeping track of the number of shots fired.

I was thinking of using magnets, but where the missile connects with the rack there isn't a lot of room to fit a magnet.

Has anyone tried this? advice please.

You'd be better off pinning.

Drill holes into the missile mounts, attach the pins to the missiles themselves and detach them from the mount once used.
