A quick question. Are the Commissar Uniforms universal, or would they differ based on the regiment they are attached to / which world the Schola Progenium they trained/studied at was on? Just wanting to make sure before I paint up a commissar.

its up to you really, im not even going to be having a "black leather greatcloak" for my commissars im going to use the Empire Priest model with some greenstuff work done on it eg giving him the hat and other bits  just have something thats ties it back to the commissariat, either the cap, the cloak, or the black/red scheme hope this helps... |

Commissars always tend to be the usual Black and Red greatcoat style, but like cmssrreath said, it's up to you really. The fun of the hobby is making your army individual.

You can even say that your army comes from a planet with officers very simliar to Commissars.
My commissars wear brown coats, and green hats. And they have no funny sashes. RT Commissars didn't come with ridiculous things like that...... but one does have a tie.

Here are some pictures of the commissariat's standard uniform I found. I hope they help.  I'll never be able to look at my commissar straight faced again  As far as I'm aware, they all wear a standardised uniform but I imagine the sensible ones who swap for something that didn't stand out so much if the situation called for it. |

Well, the commissariat HAVE a standard uniform. But evidently not all commissars chose to wear it as regulated. Take Colonel-Commissar Gaunt as an example; and you also have many different models with very different uniforms. Basically it's up to each player to motivate if they want different or the same. And the first pictures REALLY wanted me to join the Schola Progenium. |

A collective comission could be in order (as I would love one too!) Altough I would like mine to have a power sword still, in the traditional 'bring it closer so I can hit it with my sword' style |
