What it says on the tin. Also, I was wondering, is there anywhere in fluff where it says what color plasma actually is? Or can it be any color?

I'm pretty sure the 'executioner painting thread' had most people's responses on. Are you thinking of changing yours?

Yup. Copper coils are a bit boring, but I'm not sure if there is a 'real' color of plasma out there.

That depends on which element you heat up to plasma level. Most would actual be white I reckon.

The fusion reactor I've seen, (think it was at Oxford) the plasma was a bright purple, although I prefer blue.

I'm probably going to make mine green, to contrast the blue of my army's color scheme.

I use contrast. If the gun/model is dark then I use a really bright light blue, if the gun/model is khaki then I make the plasma cell blood red.
- Catachan (elf flesh skin and light green shirts) have dark purple plasma cells. - Vodiar (Cadian bodies with black/grey uniforms) have bright light blue plasma cells. - Roane Deeper (Cadian bodies with khaki uniforms, some have Catachan arms) have deep red plasma cells.

Wait... I thought fusion was all but impossible!

^^^No it happens in the core of stars. sorry, got my fusion and fission mixed up!

Well obviously I meant man-made fusion. But thank you for admitting your mixup.

no no man made fusion is possible - they're building reactors to harness the power of fusion - think of fission, but tens times better A) Use a hydrogen isotope B) More power yields C) No harmful byproducts D) If there is a power failure, sure, the taurus in the core might get minor burn damage, but apart form that, nothing else
In France and Russia they are working on fusion reactors, the Russians in particular have got it working, but once it starts they have the problem of continually supplying it after it starts, and the amount of energy needed to start it currently exceeds the energy produced

I just paint the coils chrome. I would expect that there would be some shielding from all the heat, just not effective shielding for all times. *rolls 1*

Plasma in Star Trek is green. Or, at least the ignited kind is.

Yes, and whats the point of breaking even, you need to make a profit. so you can fund your addiction to tiny plastic men

warm colours...red, orange and yellow highlight like the oldschool cadian models in the old codex... i always imagined plasma to be hot... therefore hot colours
