GGVII: Entitled ‘Santa’s Sack’, this competition is about the cool stuff you’re getting/got for chrimbo (see Wikipedia for definition 
) or any other ‘winter holiday’ related fun.
Any race/games system (40k, LOTR, Warhammer, Dreadfleet etc) is good, and the model must be started on as of NOW (or after this date), not something you have started already. If your family/friends are proper stingey (English Slang Adj. 'Mean'), treat yourself
The models submitted can be converted models, re-posed models, whatever you fancy, although it must all be done by YOU. Yes thats right, YOU. So no commissions or pre-painted ebay stuff. Or we will all hate you forever and flame your posts for all eternity.
As usual, entries will consist of Final Finished Product (FFP) photos, preferably at least 3 (from different angles), and up to 3 WIP photos.
At least 1 WIP must be provided, to show that it was your own work! This can be your smiley little mug as you open it on Christmas day if you wish, however I will replace your face with something amusing Please send them unscripted (IE without the brackets), then I can cut & paste into the voting thread, which will save me around a week of my life 
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE send me your WIP and Final Photos ALL AT THE SAME TIME! IE in one PM when youve finished.
This will allow me to keep track of who’s entries are who’s and keep them all together. I have lost stuff in the past, and I was absolutely gutted that I'd inflicted that on someone after their hard work and effort. The emotional scars are still there for both parties :’(
Also, please avoid giving members 'sneak peeks' of what you're up to in your own threads. I like to keep entries secret not because I'm mean and I dont want you to see them
Theyre secret to keep voting unbiased and away from a 'hes cool so im voting for his' mentality. It’s all about the brushwork
You should now be aware of these requirements, anyone submitting without taking notice of this won't have their entries included in the voting thread. I’m a tough love kinda guy, although I am fair too.
I have been very lenient with it in the past competitions, which was responded by members adding 'it was a shame WIP's weren't included'. Peer moderation is a wonderful thing, so take notice!
Please also provide good quality photos where possible. Borrow a digital camera if you must, as some mobile phone pictures do not look as good as they should. You want to do your painting justice! And if we can't see your wonderful painting, how can we vote for it?
If you would like pictures cropping etc then I can do that for you, providing the quality of the original image is acceptable. I’m not photoshopping them so everyone can tell what it is…
All entries must be submitted to myself via PM by Sunday 29th January 2012 at 24:00 GMT, and as with previous competitions a separate voting thread will be created. Any entries after this will not be included. A new GG competition will be created around the same time.
That's 2 months, so you can see why I won't be submitting anything that arrives after the deadline
The winner will receive praise, glory, and the traditional no-expense-spared sig banner (provided by Ymott Industries tm) to proclaim how awesome they are. YAY!
As always, this is all in the name of fun, and improving our painting skills, so please EVERYONE submit a model, especially if you wanted the great GG revival!
And please be as creative as possible! If you need inspiration (or a 'levels of crazyness' check) look at the previous voting threads, they are all amazing and absolutely mad ;D
