So i figure i'd make this thread for any conversion ideas taken straight from a movie like predator or aliens. For instance the dreadknight converted as the power lifter from aliens with ripley as the pilot. That was just one of my ideas. Just now i had the awesome idea of taking a witchhunter hat or similar and a vampire counts model as well as some goggles or glasses and turning it into alucard. I just think having alucard from hellsing would be pretty freaking awesome and sweet in a game of warhammer. Nobody could fornicate with him. Von carsteins? All wusses. Move over for alucard.

I'm sorry, you mentioned dreadknights, then I stopped reading, began to trace your IP, and started to sharpen my knife. Now, short sleeves or long?
(a cookie for whoever gets the reference).

Well i don't get the reference. Anyway converting a dreadknight means turning it into something that's actually halfway decent to look at. A good example are the daemon prince conversions for the dreadknight which covered up the pilot's cockpit completely. It was pretty good looking actually. If i could find a picture i'd show you. It's probably somewhere on the web on images but i'm far too lazy.

I'm thinking about megadreading one. I was also fantasizing today about converting a Gaston from Beauty and the Beast to be Bastonne for my army. Mostly so I can sing Gaston's song at the table top when I play him.

I was looking for some parts for this but the Bretonnian range looks like it is determined to let me down.
Perhaps I'll be visiting the Disney store after all.
