Plastic Wraith conversions

The new plastic wraith kit is nice enough, but you certainly don't want a unit of identical wraith models now do you? The answer is simple!






All I did with these was take the hexwraith components that are left over from building black knights, and the lower halves are legs from grave guard. Due to the way the wraith robes flow, bodies twisted to the right, I felt that having the right leg leading forward looked wrong, so I cut the feet off, and turned leg pieces backwards, meaning the 'legs' match the torso better

they look like they will be fun to paint... i quite fancy an VC army in the future... i have a massive undead army in my loft and the new figures look amazing.

is it me or the 3rd one on the right, the handle dont quite make it to the scythe? ie... theres a gap...

yeah, the arms don't fit perfectly, joints aren't great. They aren't finished yet, when I do the second round of green stuffing I will sort things like that, and any remaining gaps

While the figure do look great, they aren't "necron' enough for me. Might be the chanmail and the skull heads. Could do one with one of the necron heads for comparison?

I thought the 'crons were Tomb Kings In Space, not Vampire Counts In Space. Now I'm really confused.... ;D

These are great Kirsten, you never cease to amaze me with your approach to conversions. I suggest you get these send to the GW web-blog guy, I'm sure they'd be popular with lots of other model builders/gamers
