Hey gang,
having gotten my hands on a ton of new miniatures, I come to ask you a few questions:
1) How can you approximate WW2 Commonwealth uniforms and Indian (Sikhs, to be specific) with GW paints?
2) How can you approximate WW2 German uniforms and rotten, sallow skin with GW paints?
3) Same question for Russian uniforms.
4) I have two yetis, they probably will need a white-ish undercoat but all I have is black. Any suggestions?

For number 4, it's best to go and buy a white undercoat. Failing that, use the black, and then just work your way up to white through various light shades of grey.

4) Maybe don't spray them, just give them tons of white paint with brush first and then proceed as you normally would. Can I ask where the yeties are from?

For number 2 I'd say a mix of Catachan Green and (possibly?) Codex Grey would yield the grey/green look of the WW II German uniform. I actually had a mix for this years ago when I was going to do a DKoK force...

1) WW2 Commonwealth.. didn't they just wear khakee?
In which case a 50/ 50 mix of bestial brown and goblin green or similar alternatives.

If you're asking because you already have the GW paints and don't want to buy more, see above advice. If you're just not sure about others, Wayland do sets of Vallejo for specific military forces :-)

2) How can you approximate WW2 German uniforms and rotten, sallow skin with GW paints? Do i hear nazi zombies calling? Yep! Westwind's Nazi Zombies are in town! as i currently own a ww2 russian uniform...which unit and year? Well, the year in Westwind's game is 1946 if I am not mistaken. I think Sickle is an officer but beyond that, I know nothing. 4) Maybe don't spray them, just give them tons of white paint with brush first and then proceed as you normally would. Can I ask where the yeties are from? These bad buys are from Copplestone Castings.
