Puppet Wars has an interesting idea for a flak cannon, and its pretty sweet. It's essentially a guy in a Quad anti-aircraft mount. Puppet Wars Cerberus Heavy Weapons PlatformThis would also make a great Autocannon, Heavy Bolter, or Missile Launcher heavy weapons team. It has several options.

Nice! I've always wanted a hydra, but forge world is rather pricey. That is a gorgeous looking set of guns though. Good find dude!

I'm not too sure about the 'gunner' although the guns are cool as hell. I like the 'manticore' option too

I think the gunner makes it cooler. There are certainly a large number of Hydra turret conversion pieces around now, and I personally think this is the best, should I be getting a hydra, I think that will be the one.

The details are great but it looks a bit fragile and lacks an obvious aiming device.
Looks like they have the same problem that GW (or rather, their customers) suffers from; no-one onboard with any realy experience of real guns.

Lacks an obvious aiming device. Easily fixed with a high enough ROF..

Also, I saw this ages ago when doing WW2 in school, which is the same concept as this turret; It's called a polsten, and it was designed with Polish and British engineers.

I think the gunner makes it cooler. I suppose he could be swapped out for a Cadian gunner. He just looks a bit too 'steampunk' to go with my army (not that steampunkishness isnt cool, of course!)

The guy in it can't do anything well without something to aim through. Aiming alongside the barrel for accuracy was mostly abandoned during the 17th century. Besides, the polsten does have sights, you can see them sticking up on the railing on top. As always, wikipedia is your friend and supplies a better link: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Canadian_Tripe_Polsten_AA_Carriage.jpg

Care to point some out? I only know of this one and the maxmini one, would love some more choices!
