The gravitational pull around the solar star Genesis had tripled within the last hour. “Supernova is imminent sir.” “Is the evacuation complete?” “Yes sir, we’re the last ones.” “Set the scanners to transmit to the ship. We’ll monitor the shockwave from a safe distance; let’s load the body on the ship now.” The 4 person Calibrian research team escorted the hovering stasis chamber out of the medical bay. The chamber looked more like a floating coffin as it levitated 12 inches from the marble floor. Lead researcher Captain Maria Alandus jotted notes as she monitored the vital sign readings on the stasis chamber. Alandus studied the body inside the chamber which wore a majestic dark robe. The robe was covered in gold Eldar markings. The inside of the robe was breath taking. It appeared as if a piece of the known galaxy had been cut out, and sewn into the very fabric of the robe. The stars shimmered; shooting stars flew across the length of the robe and planets seemed to be orbiting numerous stars. Maria felt if she touched the robe, she might be sucked right into it, and be left floating in outer space. Alandus had been studying Eldar culture from Aiden- Tan for the last 17 years, and still she knew very little about this mysterious race. “Genesis Star will supernova in 5 minutes.” An automated voice reported through the speakers of the research station. A small vibration began to rumble beneath the entire medical facility as the gravitational pull from the Genesis star increased yet again. Almost simultaneously, the vital sign readings on the stasis chamber started to fluctuate rapidly. “Something is wrong.” said Alandus in a worried tone. Maria Alandus watched as the body in the stasis chamber began to convulse and spasm violently. “He’s waking up!” exclaimed a researcher. “Impossible.” Said Alandus, she frantically pressed at the warning lights on the control panel. Suddenly the body stopped moving. All 4 researchers stopped in the hall and looked down at the body. Its eyes opened. The Eldar farseer was awake. Bright white light shot out from his eyes and sent the 4 researchers sprawling to the ground, covering their faces. “Genesis star will supernova in 1 minute.” The automated voice reported again. “Please evacuate the facility, please evacuate the facility.” It was too late the Genesis Star exploded. ____________________________________________________
“We cannot afford to go to war with the Eldar! Our forces are busy trying to deal with Abaddon on Cadia, Rogue Imperial Guardsmen, the Tyranids and the damn Necrons! The Orks and Witch Eldar continuously raid our supply ships; this is not the time to pick a fight with the Eldar.” “My Lord if the Eldar discover that we have the body of Farseer CorAdon we will have a lot of questions to answer.” “How do we even know the Farseer survived the Genesis supernova? There has been absolutely no communication from Calibrion.” “My Lord we must know for sure that CorAdon is dead. If indeed CorAdon has survived, the Eldar will become a major problem.” “All in favour of sending a regiment to the Segoe System to investigate the status of Farseer CorAdon?” The Senate chamber was awkwardly silent. Only 1 of the 7 Inquisitor Lords raised their hand. “All those opposed to the idea?” 6 Inquisitor Lords raised they’re hands. “There, that’s enough of that business, moving on to more pressing matters.” Inquisitor Lord Jachetta stood up and stormed out of the chamber, “Old fools, they’re more concerned with political back talk then serving the Emperor’s interests.” He said to himself as he walked down the marble floored hall. ____________________________________________________
Headache pounding. General Vaselisin had not left his chambers since entering the warp near Osan Bae. Sterin’s Hammer II had entered the warp 12 hours ago and his CT303 had started acting up shortly after. The migraine was so painful he couldn’t open his eyes or even talk. Beep beep. The communications light beside his bed started to blink. “WHAT DO YOU WANT?” Vaselisin groaned. “I’m very sorry to disturb you sir, however you have a message from Lord Commander Militant.” “SEND IT THROUGH.” Vaselisin said wincing. “Good work on Osan Bae General. You are to make your way to the Segoe System to planet Calibrion. Calibrion’s closest star Genesis has gone supernova, destroying most of the planet. Calibrion had a secret research station where lead researcher Captain Maria Alandus, headed a team studying Eldar culture. About 17 years ago the body of Farseer CorAdon from Aiden-Tan was discovered, the body has been kept in stasis for over a decade being studied by Alandus and her team, and was going to be relocated but something went wrong. The Genesis star went supernova before the body could be transported and there has been no communications from Captain Alandus or her team. Worst we must know for sure whether or not Farseer CorAdon is dead or not. About 1 hour ago the Orion outpost picked up 4 war class Eldar vessels just outside of the Segoe system. You must get there first. If the Farseer is dead, great. If not and the Eldar find him first all hell will break loose. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CorLandiell stood in the snow covered gardens outside the Dome of Crystal Seers. Dressed in his usual simple blue robes the Autarch of Aiden-Tan seemed to be impatiently waiting for someone. He could feel his twins presence through the Infinity Circuit, but he had no idea how much longer he would be waiting. Suddenly a very strong feeling of loss came through him like a choir singing farewell to a lost hero. Overcome with emotion CorLandiell dropped down onto one knee in order to keep himself from falling over. Trying to collect his thoughts as to what happened he started to wipe the tears that were blurring his eyes. As he moved his hand away he saw a face identical to his own. “ Are you alright my brother?” the Farseer KaLendiall asked as he stepped out of the Dome. “ What has happened Kal I? I felt a loss.” The Farseer stood with his eyes closed for a moment then answered “ The young Seers were right in calling us brother they have found the thread of my lost teacher within the Skein.’ The Autarch stood up and grabbed his brothers shoulder. “CorAdon has been found? How is this possible?” “ I am not totally aware as to how this could be possible his thread was very thin and becomes lost in the threads of the Mon-keigh Imperials as well as the threads of Space marine followers of She who thirsts. At this time it is lost to me.” “ Do you know where he was brother?” CorLanDiell eagerly asked “ The threads join in the Segoe System, and from there everything becomes clouded” “Then that is were we will go and if the Mon-keigh have something to do with this then they will be punished with out mercy.” CorLanDiell spoke through clenched teeth with fire burning in his eyes “ I will go now to assemble the Warhost.”

"General Vaselisin, sir we are exiting the warp." "Whats the status of the planet Corporal?" Vaselisin replied. "Sir it appears that the planet is on fire, it doesn't look good. Theres something else sir, four Eldar Annihilation Class warships are obiting Calibrion! They will be waiting for us when we exit the warp!" "Red Alert !" Vaselisin ordered.

The bridge of the Athena was a mad center of tasks, the bridge crew and their mechanical servitors scrambling about in their duties, Constantine had been aware of the situation when ATAC command had requested Armstrong’s assistance. Though his regiments had been reformed and reorganized following the recent events, additional Commissar's were being attached to each and every company, it would seem to Armstrong that the secrets of Corilithia were beginning to spread and the all powerful Ministorum had wanted to investigate the matter. An adviser he called himself, overseeing the war effort, contacting the Ministorum for additional manpower and supplies as he saw fit. Crew naval hands found the character investigating closed off areas of the vessel. Areas where only the Tech Priests and Engineering Crews are permitted access. In the event of this discovery Constantine had permitted body guards to watch over him and help him with his errands. Thought the agent generally kept to his quarters he was particularly fond of the bridge today.
"Situation, Ensign." Admiral Constantine asked as he leaned over the Navigations Console.
"We will be exiting the Warp in roughly two minutes, Sir should I recommend that we begin powering up the weapon batteries and Void Shields." The Navigations Ensign replied.
"Took the words right out of my mouth trooper." He leaned over and tapped the view screen. "What is the situation on our forward Escorts, have they reached the objective?" The Admiral then asked.
"They have exited Warp Space roughly five Terran minutes ago sir, they are reporting strange temporal anomalies but nothing out of the ordinary. But if you would like further information on their reports I would talk to the Commications Officer." The Ensign getting cocky over his statements.
"I will." Constantine leaned in and began to whisper into the navigation hands ear. "This is my ship not yours, see that Ministorum Agent over there, you go against my wishes or even speak out of term to your commanding officer again I will be forced to send you to the firing squads, do you get me Ensign."
"Aye, Admiral." He replied as he cleared his throat.
The Admiral moved away from the nav station and paced himself across the deck, wiping his hand across his small prickly beard. Thinking to himself and steadily drifting away. He shook his head and loomed over the Communications Ensign.
"What have the Scouts hails been like so far, Ensign?" The Admiral Questioned him.
"The place is a graveyard, Imperial Navy shuttles are disabled and left drifting across the dimness of space. There has been no reply from our transmissions sent to them and no sign of the attackers what so ever."
"When was the last time the escorts had hailed us?"
"Roughly, five minutes."
"A lot can happen in that brief period." The Admiral retreated to his personal deck chair and raised his land hailer.
"All deck crews to battlestations, all deck crews to battlestations, bring primary shielding online, begin to reserve energy in the power capitators, vent spent coolant and get those men into the attack craft."
"Expecting trouble." Queried the Ministorum agent
"I believe trouble has already arrived and has been here for a very long time." He replied. "Commissar."
The Commissar unholstering his bolt pistol and placing an armour piercing bolt through the shadowy Ministorum Characters head, even before he could protest his innocents his head exploded in specular fashion covering the surrounding bridge areas in Emperor knows what.
"Exiting the Warp in 3 ... 2 ... 1 and get me a clean up crew."
"Aye Admiral."
* * * * *
The darkness of real space began to take over, the millions of star glistening in the distance. It was a graveyard all right dozens of navel ships lay forever drifting.
"I don't see our scouts on scanners, where are they."
"There!" Screamed an Armsmen as he viewed the port bridge camera, the Corilithian insignia standing out for all to view.
"I want to know what happened here."
"Sir, those unknown signals we were picking up, they are moving."
"In which direction."
"Towards us."
"HOSTILES all batteries prepare for attack."
The Solar sails were a dead giveaway these were Eldar all right, the ships gliding gracefully through the stars. The prow pulse lances of the slender vessels fired, the rounds began to strike along the entirety of the Void shield as the ship made its runs.
"Sir, first Void shield is down, it will be online in roughly two minutes."
"Fire, Emperor damn you, fire!"
The ship jolted as its own weapon batteries began to bark, the thousands of Macro battery rounds chasing after the Eldar Frigate.
"Deploy the frakking attack craft, NOW!"
"Aye, sir."
"All squadrons, green light, green light."
The first Fury Interceptor squadron detonated as soon as they left the hanger, hit by the highly advanced defensive turrets of their adversaries. The next squadron continued using the detonation as cover as they exited through the debris field. They flew head long seeking their target using their own frightening speed to match the Xenos, using themselves as distractions for the defensive batteries as the next Fury squadrons and Starhawk bombers had left the bay with minor or any losses.
"Where the hell is our sister ship Roma?"
"Other side of the graveyard, Sir having the same trouble as we."
"I think it is time to play our trump card."
"Sir?"
"Hail the rest of the ships to disengage warp drives we will destroy the dreaded Xenos with overwhelming firepower."
"Aye." The Comm Ensign replied.
Dozens of Warp Bubbles began to form behind the Capital Ships as the fleets Cruisers and remaining Escorts traveled forth. Instantly they gathered target co-ordinance and dispatched their attack craft or let loose their torpedoes. But the Xenos persisted, the craft instantly targeting the weaker escorts as their Void Shields crumbled and the hull began taking hits..

[*Imperial Falchion Class Escort Saktor*]
"All men to boarding torpedoes and Escape pods abandon ship, I repeat abandon sh.........................."
* * * * *
The Escort detonated as a pulse laser cut through the hull and struck the ships engines. Twenty bright explosions rippled along the hull as the escape pods launched some of which were claimed in the blast unable to escape the radius. But just as the escort had detonated a series of attack wings began their runs, the Furys swooping in first firing their lascannons in rapid succession at the ships defensive batteries and then retreating as the Starhawks dropped their utterly leathal payloads of Plasma and Melta Bombs. The Admiral watched the view screen screaming orders to his bridge staff. Just as the next Eldar craft made its run.
"Sir all shields are down, 30 seconds intill first is recharged."
"Concentrate all forward battery firepower I don't want anything to get through!"
"Aye."
"Keel torpedoes brace yourselves!"
The Admiral hit the deck watching the bridge cameras as the defensive turrets targeted and annihilated the incoming threats. The ship shuttered as bulkheads collapsed in amongst themselves, claiming naval hands and equipment with equal standing.
“Target those go damn Xeno's!”
“Aye, Admiral.”
“NOW!”
The Macro batteries continued lighting up the dimness of space, rounds impacting against the drifting hulks and the Eldars Holo Shields. A pair of Endeavour Class Light Cruisers accelerated and steadied themselves in the path of the latest threat, firing several waves of prow fast burn torpedos the turning themselves to bring their broadside firepower to bear. The weapon batteries fired into the now none existent holo shields, rounds battering and detonating all over the hull, soon there after the ship had stopped firing and engines disengaged.
“Make sure they cannot make further repairs I do not want further harassment.”
The Athenas Lance banks cut into the vessel severing it in two, fire flew wildly from its decks and quickly burnt out when the oxygen was instantly blown into space.
“Is that all of them.”
“Yes, Sir five Eldar Vessels confirmed KIA.”
“What of our losses.”
“Five Falchion Class Escort's and three Endeavour Class Light Cruisers, not to mention the other damage sustained over the entire battlefleet.”
“That damage can be repaired, now I won't to find out more about those ATAC shuttles perhaps they can provide insight to what is happening here.”
“Aye, Sir dispatching Valkyrie Gunships to drifting Hulks now.”

“Boarding team to Athena do you copy.”
“We read you load and clear Alpha party, what is your situation.”
“Moving towards bridge as we speak, I see signs of gunfire and where the Eldar weapon batteries struck.”
“What of the crew, have you found any survivors.”
“Negative. Have our scanners been able to pick up any life signs?”
“Not at this time.”
“Bridge is locked up tight seems they didn't want anyone to get in. Whoa.”
“What is it.”
“Bridge Blast door has been melted into possible a lance weapon could of done this.”
“Any sign of Bridge team.”
“No, but I found something.”
“What is it.”
“A data slate, could hold something useful on it.”
“Good job boarding team Alpha we will notify the others to return for exfiltration.”
The Com Ensign stood up from his station and proceeded to the Admiral.
“Sir, we should hail the others there support will be required when we hit groundside.”
“Agreed, Ensign prepare transmissions.”

Sergeant!
"what is it gaurdsmen?"
indicators show that we will be exiting warp in exactly 5 minutes
"where?"
erm... some segoe system?
"never heard of it... hostiles? friendlies?"
Sir, 4 Eldar Warships - Unknown Class. And also another Guard regiment.... 511th ATAC?
"Again never heard of..."
*Sergeant! Sorry to interrupt* the new arrival was clearly out of breath
"What is it Karl?"
*Shuttle 8241 arrived just before we got sucked back into the warp, ive got good news and bad news!*
"Hit me"
turns out we weren't the only Castus Battlegroup to get transmitted back to the Imperium, reports indicate that the Castus 5th Battlegroup Bravo and Charlie were also sent back...
"Castus 5th? that would mean Commander Svarlson"
Thats the bad news Sir. Turns out the Castus 5th got transported 4 decades ago, Commander Svarlson was lost in the warp, only half the fleet made it, the 2 Battlegroups are under the command of one Alex Johnson?
"Alex Johnson eh? trust him to bloody survive such a thing..."
Sir?
"Alex Johnson was one of my Cadets back in the day. Whats their location?"
Thats the other bad thing Sir, it turns out they've taken heavy casualties so Johnson's ordered the Castus 5th to attempt to warp back to Calthanos. Their departing from Osan Bae in 5 weeks time.
"warping to Calthanos? is that man insane... nevertheless it is out ticket back to the Castus System, we will go to Osan Bae."
Its near this Segoe System sir. we will be able to warp from there, presuming we don't get caught up with these Eldar...
Sergeant, we're leaving warp in 10 mintus!
"Give me the Tannoy"
"To all crew, it seems we will have a ticket back to Castus, our brothers of the Castus 5th are at some Osan Bae preparing to depart, if we can link up with them we can return. Now i want all men to be combat ready!"
Sir, all 5 squads report Combat readiness.
-The Castus 1st Battlegroup Alpha was decimated, but it still had plenty of fight-

“SIR! Wake up sir! We gotta go” The 2nd officer of the bridge, Jonah Gasmot yelled as he double tapped his laspistol at the Eldar Gaurdians. General Vaselisin lay on the ground with his back against a wall. Thick black smoke filled the air all around him. His ears were filled with the sounds of crackling fire, similar to the sound of the campfires during basic training, where he and his squad mates would laugh and tell stories about all of the young ladies they had “campaigned” with. His vision was still blurry, however he could make out the distorted shape of his crashed escape pod and the 5 men that had been in the tiny capsule with him. 2 were dead, they had died on impact when their pod had violently crashed to the ground. My Emperor, Vaselisin thought, how many men and women had been lost? How many had made it off the ship alive? The planet was consumed in fire. Literally “hell on earth.”
“General Vaselisin! We have to move sir, NOW!” Gasmot yelled again the desperation in his voice escalating. Another man Vaselisin couldn’t tell who, picked him up from underneath the arms and lifted him to his feet. “Wait.” Said Vaselisin, “Get the homing beacon.” The 3 men made their way through burning alleys as flames consumed buildings and everything else in their paths. The entire sky was a red glowing, churning mass of black and red clouds, ash fell from the sky like spring rains. After a few blocks the men rested in a small flood way that must have been used to channel rain water away from the research complex. “Those damn Eldar are persistent buggers aren’t they?” “Any communications on the vox?” Vaselisin inquired. “Not yet sir, there is no way to know for certain that the battle group heard our last transmission.” “The Emperor protects” Vaselisin said as he looked up at the red sky.
Elsewhere on Calibrion, Sgt. Alfred Doom and his squad were also in a fight for their lives.

Flynn looked around the camp as she chewed the Eldar meat. Of the two dozen who had stepped through the portal only twenty were left. The first through the portal ,Pte. Sullen, was nowhere to be seen when the rest passed through, Sgt. Kenny had gone insane from what he saw in the portal and shot himself, and the two pointmen had been killed in the Eldar ambush but were able to shout a warning before being cut down.
They had made camp soon after defeating the xenos and the Jikanji had cooked the Eldar they'd butchered. Tough and stringy, it was never the less welcome.
As her soldiers ate and checked their weapons, the question once again reared its head: Where exactly were they?

Post by Lord General Armstrong on Mar 7, 2012 6:38:01 GMT -5
Constantine watched the primary pict viewer as his fleet began to take positions outside the debris field. "Reports indicated four Elder vessels of unknown class, they were sketchy at best but they described them as something along the lines of Dreadnoughts."
The comm ensign swiveled unnervely around in his deck chair. "But sir, naval academy and Ministorum Officers said they never use anything larger than ships comparable to our cruisers."
"That ensign is correct, meaning whatever is on this Emperor forsaken world is of vital importance to them." The Admiral swiftly reassured him.
"Why not let them have it, these are the Eldar sir. Haven't records indicated the Imperium have served with them before?" The Weapons Officer interjected.
"Do not vile heresy on my bridge, or I will see you stoking guns or manning kitchen duty. However it is true that the Imperium have made temporary alliances with these Xenos when our and their best interests are the same. But they see us as tools at best and pests at worst." The Admiral cutting his hand through the empty space beside him, silencing the bridge.
"There will be no more talk about the Xenos men, we will set up our naval blockade and give them a swift counter attack if the so called Dreadnoughts appear to confront us." Constantine moving his hand away from his holstered laspistol as his bridge crew continued about their tasks.
"Aye, sir." They wholeheartedly replied.
The Admiral slowly walked back to his deck chair just as the bridge's blast door began to slowly open. A Red Robed figure accompanied by 5 Corilithian Armsmen and another figure wearing a white lab coat wielding a personal data slate stormed in.
"I'm sorry, sir but we have a situation." Stated the Carapace Armoured Naval Trooper.
"Yes, I must say this Red Robed maniac will not listen to a single word I say. I have been going over the numbers and showing him all of my compiled evidence but this ... this idiot keeps claiming I am going against the holy will of the Omnissiah." Interrupted the Scientia abruptly handing his slate over to the admiral.
"Do ... not ... listen ... to ... him." Slowly replied the Tech Priest, as his machinery and his implanted cogitator spoke in binary then troublely began translating it into Gothic. "The ... all ... great ... and ... powerful ... machine ... god ... protects ... us ... allows ... us ... to ... live ... within ... its ... metal ... belly ... this ... man ... so ... called ... scientist ... would ... state ... that ... our ... grand ... machinery ... will ... not ... be ... able ... to ... withstand ... the ... conditions ... of ... the ... planet."
The Admiral scrolled down the slate as he took in the information. "What am I looking at?"
"Planetary data, describing the planetary situation the intense heat and high solar flare activity will be hectic to our machinery and troops not wearing environmental suits or at least simple re-breathers will suffer from the constant ash clouds. Volcanic activity is also a problem I should add and with the space port heavily damaged we are going to have to find another way to get to the ground." The Scientia Professor adjusted his glasses and wipe some appearing crinkles off of his coat.
"And how do we deploy forces on the ground?" Questioned the Admiral
"Addition caramite plating positioned strategically over the vehicles hulls, caramite is designed to withstand the intense heat of melta weapons so it should in theory at least give some protection against this planets now natural environment."
"You ... will ... let ... him ... disgrace ... the ... Omnissiah's ... vehicles ... his holy ... STC ... designs ... that ... have ... stood ... the ... test ... of ... time!"
"We have little choice the objective is top level and finding General Vaselisin is of the most utmost importance."
The Tech Priests over clock now working over time, he switched off his binary translator and started to scream obscenities or at least thats what it sounded like to the bridge crew.
"Escort the good Priest out of here."
"You ... will ... fail ... Constantine ... the ... good ... High ... Lord ... Inquisitor ... cannot ... keep ... you ... hidden ... forever ... nor ... can ... your ... little ... allies!"
"Take him to the brig and put a lasround into him I will not have loose cogs upon my ship."
"Aye." Replied one of the Armsmen.
"You ... cannot ... do ... this .....................!" Echoed down the long hallway and was suddenly silenced as soon as the blast door had closed.
"Tell Armstrong to mount the Imperial Landers and get his Engineers to equip all vehicles with additional caramite plating we are going to ground."

The ATAC banner flapped in the scorching, ash filled winds. The corners of the flag had been cinged by the flames and small embers floated softly to the ground. Sgt. Doom held the banner in one hand as he blasted at the Eldar Banshees with his plasma pistol. The original company standard bearer had been decapitated by the Eldar ambush and his right hand was still clutching the bottom of the flag pole. Sgt.Doom's escape pod had crash landed, but by the Emperor's mercy he and his entire 10 man squad had survived. They had reconed 4 kms south, fighting the intense heat and flames with all of their will power until finally they heard the familiar sounds of a fire fight. A squad of ATAC soldiers had been ambushed by the banshees and were completely slaughtered.Doom's squad had surprised the Eldar banshees but despite their every effort the storm troopers couldn't match the Eldar's evasive speed. Now backed into a burning maintenance building the stormtroopers fired every hotshot lasgun, grenade launcher and Melta to no avail. Still holding the banner in his left hand, Doom holstered his pistol and unclipped a grenade from his belt. Aiming at the already compromised support beam that held up the burning roof, Doom chucked the grenade at the base of of the wall. "Down! Now!" Sgt. Doom yelled as the 9 stormtroopers kissed the dirt. The explosion shook the crippled building but the roof held. "Frak!" Doom cursed, his frustration evident despite his voice being muffled by his rebreather. The Banshees launched over the rubble at the the guardsmen. "The Emperor protects!" Doom yelled as he blasted a banshee in the face. The ground suddenly shook violently as the roof finally caved in. The burning debris landed directly on top of the advancing banshees, with no where to run the eldar were killed instantly. When the dust and ash settled, Dooms squad sounded off. 2 stormtroopers were missing in the burning rubble.
"Sarge!" the vox operator said excitedly its hard to make out but I think the Castus are trying to reach us on the vox! We can recieve but I can't seem to send messages back, too much solar interference." "Well keep trying soldier, move out" Doom ordered.

The naval pilot turned his head and looked down to the transport bay.
"Hope you guys brought your sunblock, as it looks like somebody turned up the heat."
Armstrong lifted his safety harness and grabbed the ladder rungs, climbing himself up and into the cockpit. It was a view alright, the planet was in flames kilometers upon kilometers of scorched Earth.
"It looks like the caramite plating is holding." Armstrong leaning over glancing out the forward deck windows. "ETA to suggested landing zone."
"Two hours with all this interference and add in additional time if the Eldar want to have there so called dance of death." He snarkly replied as he closed his eye shields. "Damn that is a bright Atmos, lets frakking hope the so called egghead was right."

Vaselisin’s lips were smeared with dried blood. His lunges were slowly being poisoned from breathing in too much ash. His cough was constant now. Every few steps seemed like a thousand as his legs refused to carry him. With every cough more blood filled his mouth, he needed a rebreather to filter out the ash and smoke. “Shh Gasmot hissed as the trio came to a group of closely knit research buildings. Gasmot was peering around a corner watching a small group of Eldar move from building to building inspecting each door as they passed them. There was a sign posted above one of the charred doors it read, “Research Annex 2” Vaselisin hunched over as another coughing attack began. “Dear Emperor please, make this stop.” Vaselisin pleaded with the God Emperor to silence his cough. Gasmot turned away from Vaselisin to see if the Eldar had heard him. “I don’t think they heard you sir.” Gasmot said relieved. A moment later Gasmot’s head flopped back as a red laser blast bore through his skull. Gasmot’s body dropped to the ground like a rag doll. Again Vaselisin found himself running for his life being dragged by his last comrade Lt. Harding.

The first set of landers struck the obsidian ground their underside and rear thrusters whining to a sudden halt. The massive access ramps dropped with a loud lingering thud and within minutes the troops were beginning to deploy. Armstrong checked and double checked his equipment ensuring his re-breather was properly equipped he turned and looked to his retinue as they took positions around their esteemed commander. "Vox Operator." The designated trooper wielding the Vox Caster walked forward and gave his CO a crisp salute. "Yes, Sir." "Where do we stand." "80% of 501st has been deployed, they are erecting prefabricated structures and establishing Tarantula positions. 20% of 502nd and 503rd deployed rough estimate of their full deployment is 4 hours." "Good, what of the other forces on the ground." "Fleet scans have picked up ATAC survivors and reports are coming in that the Castus are already on the ground." "Prepare priority emergency transmission running on all channels, use the landers own comm relays to boost the signal. Tell the ATAC to hold tight and that we are coming to get them as for the Eldar I want to know why they are here." "Yes, General it will be done." * * * * * To: ATAC From: Lord General Armstrong This is Lord General Armstrong of the Corilithian Imperial Guard Regiments, fleet scans have pinpointed your positions and we will have fast attack vehicles at your positions within the hour. Hold firm the Emperor protects the brave. In The Emperor We Trust. Signed, Lord General Armstrong Corilithian Battlegroup

Sergeant, all teams have arrived
"Excellent, we are too small in number to fight large scale, therefore i say we link up with these Corilithian Soldiers who are also supposed to be present on this giant ball of hell and pick up any ATAC on the way."
