Hey veteran painters out there. I'm looking to try a new style for getting lights and/or glass to really pop. I tried looking for some threads or guides on it but none came up with a quick search. I was wondering if any of you guys had some links and/or how-to's for painting in the light reflections and effects for 'glass' areas, mainly on vehicles.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Deathkorpsman, Here's a quick demonstration on paint to show you the basics... You basically want to just build up lighter layers, and then add a dot of White on the Black udercoat Here's some more examples... Just do a Black undercoat, then cover half of the lense/block/window with the colour of your choice, then another lighter layer covering less....and so on and so forth. If you just want it to look like plain colourless glass then just use Grey and White Hope that makes sense. Cosmic

That would be cool. Try and get a sticky for basic, intermediate, and advanced techniques.

They only thing I'd add would be a caot of gloss varnish, this makes natural light do some of the work too. Heres my lenses
