How did you do the "501"? A steady hand?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using ProBoards

How did you do the "501"? A steady hand? Of course not, those are decals from the transfer sheet from the cadian squad box. I used microsol liquids and weathered it.

I almost farted when I saw these , such NICE models ....
Heavily equipped, hulkering beasts that I can easily imagine jumping out of Chimera's and brutally suppressing riots

As what can probably be described as a minor brainfart on my account, i cannot identify the power fist hand. It looks tau but i can't bring it home.
Anybody know?
Very nice job by the way!!

Thanks for all of the positive replies. The power fist comes from an errant knight titan kit from Epic.

Uhm, Silver surfer is a man, according to his profile. Guys, you know the stereotype about gamers being geeks who never get laid? Yeah, spot on... Anyway, cool models, the sergeant looks mean as hell. Only two things, my usual pet peeve about wooden stocks on lasguns/autoguns, no biggie. His knife/machete though. There's no way hell be able to draw it when it's carried like that. If the edge was turn away from him then at least he would be able to tilt the scabbard and pull it towards himself. Again, no biggie. Still cool models.

Which is a gun produced for a few years during the 50s and have long since been replaced by weapons with polymer stocks and not a space age laser weapon which is mostly made out of plastics, polymers and metal anyway. Like I said, just a pet peeve and not a complaint.

As a fan of Space Marine scouts and hoarding their bits to use on guardsmen, I approve! The shade of Khaki is perfect, too.

Thanks for the positive replies. Skin is done easily with tallarn flesh, devlan mud and some highlights with dwarf and elf flesh. My next projects are a second vendetta and two hydras. Glad you like my blog. I will try to find some close-up of my dear footsloggers.
