Now, I recognize a collection when I see one and that... is a collection.
Where on Terra did you acquire so many metal Cadian!?
Great colors, fantastic artillery emplacements.
For a rounded, overall, 9/10

Thanks for the positive comments. Always a pleasure to hear or read than your army is a nice one. I will try to make photos of the whole collection this weekend. Where on Terra did you acquire so many metal Cadian!? You need to be patient or old. I started to play IG last century. Then I guess I'm both

I'm never a fan of using military model kits such as the Artillery you have there for 40k, but ignoring that, this is an awesome collection Consistency is what I like and you have just that. Think you'll do well in the tournament? The one thing I have just noticed is the sentinel, he sort of looks like he's having toilet trouble

Weathering is almost done on this superheavy. I may use the same technique to improve the other tanks.

I think your army is fantastic. The space orangutans are great fun! Nothing like a well painted force like this to inspire! Keep it up.

That is looking good! the weathering is decent on it, not to over done but noticeable enough to know she's been out in the field Why did you paint it in a different scheme to the rest of your army? Major downer

Major downer Thanks a lot. I chosed a different scheme because the usual one doesn't really work with the weathering. But there is only a tau sept ocre drybrushing between the usual scheme and this one. I'm wondering if I shouldn't redone the whole park finally...

Really nice work there!
Love the dusty finish, any chance of a walk through or tips?

Really nice work there! Love the dusty finish, any chance of a walk through or tips? Sure. 1. A watered layer of beige (Rakarth flesh). 2. Inking with agrax eartshade. 3. Drybrushing with Rakarth flesh then tau sept ocre. 4. Weathering with blister foam using abaddon black. Put some black points on flat areas et use the foam as a drybrush on edges. 5. Metallics using leabelcher and inked with nuln oils 5. Details - use the colours you want at this stage. I weathered the red parts of the lascan using the same technique as above 6. Put the decals and seal them with watered Ardcoat (I used instead an old pot of mat varnish but it should work also)

Why must you do this to me!? Just when I was thinking about cannibalizing the Volcano Cannon from my unbuilt Shadowsword kit to bodge onto the Aquila Strongpoint in place of the Macro Cannon to make a Defense Laser emplacement... Nao I haz doubtz!!! Seriously, though, great looking paint job on the tank, Silversurfer!

Love the paint job, very well done. My super heavies are different colors from my main force too since the battle tanks of antiquity are usually significantly older than the regiments they are attached to and the fact that they come from all over the 40k universe and different regiments as well. It also makes them stand out from your normal vehicle and foot troops. I give a big thumbs up!

The first hydra is finished with the same tchnique than the superheavy, not completly keen of it. Well it's still a good tabletop mini. The second hydra is wip.
